Tenderness. Do you not appreciate this? What is inherent in tenderness is love, carried by the softest of words, the softest touch, the softest gaze. You so seldom slow down in your busy lives that life can feel harsh. Tenderness is slow and gentle. Be tender with yourself. Slow down. Caress your cheek. Do you remember how this feels, self-love? Give this gift to another, why don’t you. If all were to slow down a bit and gaze softly, speak slowly, touch with tenderness, we daresay love would be peeking out and peaking out all over.
I miss my husband’s tenderness & love. Tenderness is something I give to others and have never thought of giving to myself, but now I must learn to because my husband has passed over.
That’s beautiful, Debbie. Please talk to your husband as you are kind to yourself and know that he draws near as you do so. Sending you love from here.
