To walk a balance beam takes practice. Lean too far to one side and then you must lean the same bit to the other side. There is fear that you may fall off, as in learning to ride a bike, but soon you learn how to come back to center. All of human life is like this. To function fully, smoothly, peacefully, seek balance in all things. The body, mind, and spirit will each tell you when you are out of alignment. It hurts to go too far to one side. Come to know how it feels to be centered, then take off those training wheels and glide.
