You have been given the power to kill. Such a responsibility. How do you use it? That is the question that matters. Do you use it to save many more lives? Do you use it to feed bodies? Do you use it to eliminate a pesky bug that poses you no danger and is merely a nuisance?
Know that there is no such thing as killing the soul of any creature. You change the trajectory of the physical experience, but the Life Force is eternal. A human, animal, insect, or plant’s life force continues on with or without a body. What are the ramifications of your actions? If you are going to change the trajectory of a bug, perhaps you could carry it outside. If you are going to nourish the body with the cooperation of another creature, do so humanely, with gratitude, and without waste. Are you getting the picture? Motive, intention, and love are all important and all-important.
This was definitely a “Hit!” for me! First time here, just found mention of this space…reading Wolf’s book… But I had moved plants back into my home for the first time in about 10 years and have spent the last few weeks struggling with the idea of killing the little bugs that come along with having plants. Yesterday I even tried to google eanything about spiders or any kind of insect being a personal guide…. so I laughed out loud when I read this! Delightful!
