Look around you.  What do you see?  Exactly and only what your belief system wants you to see.  The brain is like that.  It turns your life into a sort of jigsaw puzzle and it will seek out only the pieces that fit just right.  You expect certain “kinds” of people to look or behave a certain way and that is exactly and only who and what you will find.  “Pieces” who do not fit into your puzzle’s exact parameters will either be ignored or not even noticed at all.  Are you willing to undo the pieces of your puzzle and start again with no picture on the box to guide you?  The result may be a tapestry far more interesting than the one on the box you have been living in.
