"Our audience was captivated by Suzanne's storytelling and by the
material she presented. She had me on the edge of my seat the entire
evening. Having had a dramatic story of her own about mediums, Suzanne
guided us through to the 'spirit side' going from a non-believer to a
believer 'with evidence. She is a natural motivational speaker, and her
unbounded energy stayed with us well beyond her leaving. We sold out of
her books that night!"
"It was an absolute thrill having Suzanne Giesemann speak at Angels by
the Sea. She is a talented writer, for sure, but her personal story is as
awe-inspiring as any book I've ever read. She is articulate and
professional, yet approachable and down to earth,as well. That's a
fabulous combination that resounds with many people today who are
taking care of their earthly needs while pursuing their personal spiritual
journey. We hope Suzanne will stop at Angels by the Sea again soon. She

Suzanne Giesemann is the author of nine books and is a presenter and teacher in the field of
spirituality and human empowerment. She is a former Navy Commander who has served as a
Commanding Officer and was the aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon
on 9/11. She has traveled to 54 countries, flown on Air Force One with the President, been
catapulted off the deck of an aircraft carrier, walked on the Great Wall of China, lived in a house
in Japan with tatami mats and rice paper walls, and helped depose a dictator.
Suzanne has a Master's Degree in National Security Affairs. In addition to her command tour and
duties as aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs she served tours in naval intelligence, she
taught political science at the U.S. Naval Academy, and was a plans and policy officer for the U.S.
Southern Command. Her overseas assignments were in Panama and Japan. Her military decorations
include the Combat Action Ribbon and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
An avid sailor, Suzanne is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain. She served as a
Boat of the Year judge for Cruising World magazine and for three years wrote a monthly column for
Blue Water Sailing. She and her husband, Ty, sailed their 46-foot sloop, Liberty, over 25,000 miles,
including a voyage across the Atlantic Ocean and throughout the Mediterranean.
When Suzanne first began researching and writing the Hay House published book, The Priest and
the Medium, she never dreamed that she would one day connect with the unseen world herself.
After years of meditation, however, she began to have her own intuitive experiences, which led
her to several classes on mediumship and to an intensive course at the respected Arthur Findlay
College of Psychic Sciences in Stansted, England. Her eye-opening experiences there allowed her
to develop her contact with the unseen world to the point where she now gives private readings,
connecting people with their loved ones who have passed. Her experiences with inspirational
writing and inspired poetry are published daily on her blog. She co-authored a how-to book of
evidential mediumship with internationally acclaimed medium Janet Nohavec, Where Two Worlds
Meet, and Janet Nohavec's compelling biography, Through the Darkness. The story of Suzanne's
transition from Navy Commander to her current work as an intuitive counselor is chronicled in her
memoir, Messages of Hope, which is featured in a documentary by the same name.
