lee-jung-min-decoration-1090766_640Can you laugh at yourself?  Try it, why don’t you especially when others are doing the same.  There are various reasons why the back goes up and the jaw becomes set when others laugh and you do not, but the basic reason is “should,” which always goes back to belief systems, which always go back to ego.  Shift awareness when you cannot see yourself with compassion, for it takes compassion to see the human in situations.  As you shift to the perspective of the soul, you will gain new insights.  There is a difference between a laugh of derision and the laughter that says, “Please relax your shoulds” and be easy on yourself.”  You are so very loved, no matter what.
